Suzanne is looking for a birthing partner but Yvonne isn't too enthusiastic about babies after being kept awake by Louie and Carol's baby. There's tension between Louie and Carol as they struggle to keep Jack happy.
Lucy is still playing some strange games and tells Wayne that Pete is putting pressure on Dolores to let him move in. Wayne decides to help Lucy get a new job and Dolores is delighted when Lucy gives her flowers for the anniversary of Jessica's death.
Finn asks Yvonne to help him come up with ideas for Valentine's Day in the Station and invites her over for dinner so they can brainstorm.
Val and Sandie continue to clash and Val is upset when Leo cancels another date to deal with the turmoil between Shannon and Sandie. Shannon finds a contract for a cruise ship job in Sandie's bag.

Shannon leaves the cruise letter out for Leo to find and Leo is furious when he discovers what Sandie is really up to. Val convinces Leo to wait for Sandie to return home from town so she can face the music in person.
Louie and Carol decide to start Jack on solid food but Louie decides they should make their own organic baby food. Carol isn't impressed when Louie leaves her to do it on her own so he can play golf.
Suzanne is upset that she can't find a birthing partner and Esther decides that she should offer her services. Niamh convinces Yvonne to throw a baby shower for Suzanne.
Wayne asks Bob to give Lucy a trial in the Hungry Pig. Lucy's games continue when she tells Pete that Dolores might need some space over the next few days as she deals with Jessica's anniversary. Pete feels pressured to leave Dolores, Wayne and Lucy alone as they celebrate Lucy's new job.

Louie is still wrecked from Jack's continual crying and takes him for a walk to settle him down. He bumps into Leo, who offers to rent Louie's empty flat for Sandie. Distracted, Louie hurries off to get the keys for the flat leaving baby Jack behind in the shop.
Sandie insists she won't give up her job and that she's leaving that afternoon but Leo tries to convince her to stick around for Shannon's sake. Sandie agrees to stay and Leo starts looking for a job for her and a place for her to stay.
Esther wants to make a fuss with her baby shower present for Suzanne but poor Charlie is getting sick of hearing about Suzanne's baby. Suzanne finally gives in and asks Esther to join her for the birth in the hospital.
Leo and Val are shocked to find Sandie at home waiting for a taxi with her bag packed. Sandie storms off leaving Leo to tell Shannon that her mother has deserted her for a job on a cruise ship.

Yvonne is regretting her decision to throw a baby shower but Carol's all dolled up and ready to party. Yvonne and Carol clash when Carol puts her foot in it with a comment about Yvonne's past.
Louie decides to hold a poker game with the lads while the girls are at the baby shower. They wind Finn up about Yvonne but Finn decides to go for it and later pays Yvonne a visit to ask her out.
Val's not impressed with Leo as he still seems intent on sending Shannon to boarding school. Leo struggles to deal with a teenage daughter and feels guilty when Shannon tells him she'll go to boarding because he clearly doesn't want her around.
Lucy brings Dolores and Wayne for brunch to celebrate what would have been Harry and Dolores' anniversary. Dolores gets reports from Bob and Esther that Lucy is having trouble with her housemates and much to Pete's dismay, Dolores asks Lucy to move in.
