Sweet Sixteen
In honour of Rachel's 16th birthday, we're embarrasing her with some old photos.
So Rachel Brennan has turned sixteen - they grow up so fast! Unfortunately poor Rachel's birthday was eclipsed by the sad passing of her grandmother, Rita. There was a silver lining to her grief though.
After a belated and ramshackle 16th birthday party, Rachel learned that her lovely granny had left her some money. Now Rachel is trying to resist blowing the lot. We all know our Rachel is the responsible sort but will the temptation prove too much?
Dilemmas like this are not the worst Rachel has had to face in her time in Carrigstown. Her mother Helen died when Rachel was still a toddler, her father Paul had a heart attack and she was involved in a unfortunate misunderstanding which cast doubt on Barry O' Hanlon's reputation. Most recently, her friendship with Charlotte has put her though the ringer, she's been thrown out of a pub with fake I.D. and even accused of shoplifting.
A busy little lady indeed!
