Judith finally gave in to her urge to find out if there really was any chemistry between herself and Luke, who was her childhood sweet heart after all. Judith has always been a lady of principle but it seems she has finally decided to serve herself and embraced the adulterous fling with her brother-in-law.

Luke and Judith got sloppy however and when Vivienne informed Judith that she caught them canoodling in the car, Judith panicked. Despite Luke trying to calm her down, Judith rushed off and told Tommy that she had slept with his brother. Tommy was absolutely furious, instantly dismissing it all as a ploy from Luke to get at him. All the skeletons have come out of the closet though, with both spouses letting loose and Tommy deciding to disappear for a few days.

Judith is left wondering if there is anything left of her marriage to salvage. The Dillon children meanwhile have jumped to the obvious conclusion and started thinking that their father has cheated again.

Tommy however has returned only to find Luke pleading with Judith to leave her marriage. His resulting anger has driven him to threaten to reveal all to the children and shock Judith with an indecent proposal.

TOMMY
I don't want to be with you if you're always
thinking of him.

JUDITH
Tommy.

TOMMY
So, go to him. Share his bed.

JUDITH
After all I've put up with, you think you've the right to throw me out?

TOMMY
I never said move in with him.

JUDITH, A LOOK.

TOMMY
Just go and get whatever you think you need.

JUDITH
Don't be obscene.

TOMMY
And you don't be so pious. Let's see how long it takes before you realise what kind of man he really is.

JUDITH
What are you, my pimp?

TOMMY, A LOOK.

JUDITH
Is this your way of winning back the moral high ground?

TOMMY
You need to realise that whatever he's promising, isn't real.

JUDITH
He only makes promises he can keep.

TOMMY
Listen to yourself.

JUDITH, A LOOK. SHE MAKES TO GO.

TOMMY
You're not over him, so, do it. Have your affair, Judy. Get it out of your system so that we can get on with our lives.

JUDITH, SHOCKED. SHE GOES, DISGUSTED WITH HIM, LEAVING TOMMY FRUSTRATED.
