Winners Visit Carrigstown
The lucky winners of our anniversary competition got an exclusive behind the scenes tour of Carrigstown. See what happened!
We got a huge amount of entries to our 23rd anniversary competition but only five lucky winners got the chance to visit the studios, see the sets and meet the cast of Fair City.
Our lucky winners and their guests got a tour of the exterior sets, or what we refer to as the 'lot', where they saw Carrigstown's main street and learned some of the secrets of how Fair City is filmed. They also saw the interior sets in Stage A and Stage C, where we have our residential and commercial property sets. They even got to meet some of our cast and then have a cup of tea and a chat in McCoys. It was a lovely afternoon and it's just a shame we can't do it more often.
Due to Fair City's busy filming schedule this is something that can only happen if people come in on their day off so thank you to the cast and to everyone who helped on the day to make this possible.
