Jo Fahey, loving mother and wife, community stalwart with a charitable soul. Who would have ever thought she would stray?
Tommy Dillon has been a resident of Carrigstown for almost a year, a devoted father, who acts like a love-struck teenager in his wife, Judith's, company. Affable and warm, Tommy has had no problem settling in after his family's move from Kilkenny.
But is all as it seems?
The stakes are high for Jo. She is jeopardising not only her reputation, but her marriage and family. Jo has frequently had an attack of the 'guilty conscience', and on numerous occasions tried to rebuff Tommy's charms..unsuccessfully. What could be worth such a risk? Love?
Tommy on the other hand has hardly had a moment's concern. He is in no doubt of his feelings for Judith, declaring her to be the love of his life. So how can he so easily betray her? It is all very clear cut in his mind; a bit of fun, "some summer sweetness". How sweet will it be if his children were to ever find out?
It might make one wonder if there was anything in the Dillons move from Kilkenny!
