How did you come up with the idea: As a little boy growing up in Bangladesh Sarajit was often in the Kitchen with his mother Aruna who shared with him her closely guarded culinary secrets? Some years later while Sarah and Sarajit were working in their award winning restaurant the Fuschia house Ma Aruna's Curry recipes became the most popular items on the menu. The demand became so that they started to make take home sauces.

Personal Information: Sarajit Chanda and Sarah Nic Lochlainn were globetrotters in 1999 when they met while working in Sydney, Australia. It was no coincidence that they worked in, arguably, Sydney's best Indian restaurant as both were passionate about good food and nutrition.
Sarah immediately fell in love with traditional Indian cuisine, its depth of flavour, its authenticity and history, its health and nutritional properties. She also fell in love with Sarajit! The couple married and moved to Ireland in 2001.

How you came up with Idea: Pat says "When trying to store a paint tray, roller and brush in a plastic bag I realised that if I had some way of removing the air before I tied a knot in the Bag then this vacuum would keep wet things wet and dry things dry.Vacring was born."

Personal Information: Pat has worked in the building industry for over 30 years and the last 10 of these he has been project managing. This experience dealing with planners, building control, architects, tradesmen, customers and bringing the projects in at the right quality, time and budget has helped him speed up the design, development and marketing of VacRing.

How you came up with Idea: spotted a gap in the Irish footwear market for an effective, reliable, affordable and eco friendly product.

Idea: "Turning used tyres into speakers systems" (Jollies)

Location: Living in Combs in the United Kingdom but from Ireland originally.

The Pitch: " A great way to recycle used tyres and make a profit".

How did you come up with the idea: Oliver came up with the idea some years ago and started to use them on his mobile roadshow and in various car shows.

Personal Information: Ollie is a mobile DJ and lives in the UK with his wife Jean. Jean and Ollie make up the name Jollie and he says the idea came to him on St Patrick's day.

The Pitch: A travel website that makes getting travel info straight to the point & easy to understand

How you came up with Idea: I came up with the idea while sitting on a 24 hour bus in Argentina. After travelling to over 70 countries I always found it hard to get good travel info without searching through millions of blogs & forums.

Personal Information: I LOVE to travel. Engaged to Mo Grimes (proposed after jumping out a plane). She has worked in Fund Accounting between travels for over 7 years.
