Q: Explain your Dragon's Den experience?
A: Very interesting and such a learning experience.
Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Ramona by far!
Q: Were you nervous?
A: For sure! I have heard of people saying their legs were shaking and I was like, no way! But when I entered the room, the fear came over me and I felt like a child in the headmasters office!
Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: No, they were all relevant. I was bemused though, why they felt the product was not ready yet, even though it has sold nationally in various retailers!
Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A: I didn't feel that I had an interested Dragon on the day. I would have expected Gavin to not be interested because he already has his Tan organic and other three Dragons were Tech's, that left Ramona and I didn't feel a warmth from her which would be necessary for me, if I was to accept a partner in my business. I knew in my heart within 30 seconds of entering the room, that it wouldn't be an investment but was so grateful for the opportunity to have such a growing experience.
Q: Would you have done anything differently?
Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
Q: In five year's time where do you see your product/company?
A: Providing safe skin care for Ireland and hopefully abroad, at a cost that is fair for quality.
Q: What is your lasting memory of the Den?
A: Business and integrity in Business, doesn't always go hand in hand! Its important that pioneering companies like myself, understand that there will be a harder road to convince people about educating yourself before a purchase. Niche companies may not be so appealing to investors, doesn't mean it's not a great business.
