Episode 9: Hey Baby

Q: Explain your Dragon's Den experience?
A: It was an exciting time. Meeting with the Dragons was the serious bit. It went by so quickly.

Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Nora.I expected her to show the most interest in the products as she is a mother herself but it was actually Bobby and Niall that were most interested in the sample products that I had brought along.

Q: Were you nervous?
A: Yes. I was so afraid that I would mess up my pitch. Thankfully I didn't.

Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: Not really. I had watched so many past episodes of the show and was prepared for all the questions.

Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A:Niall. He gave me good advice on improving the website and increasing traffic to the site.

Q: Would you have done anything differently?
A: I got emotional when Niall was giving positive comments so I would have tried to remain cool. I'm one of those people that gets embarrassed when someone says something nice about me.

Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
A: Yes,for sure. The Dragons may not invest in your idea but its great media exposure.

Q: What does this mean to you personally?
A: Since the show was filmed I have went looking for other investors and am delighted to have secured backing from a private investor. This backing will allow Hey Baby to grow further in 2012.

Q: In five year's time where do you see your product/company?
A: I would ideally like to have a number of small retail outlets in a number of shopping centres around the country.

Q: What is your lasting memory of the Den?
A: Nerve wrecking but hopefully it will be all worth it.
