Episode 2: Sugar Free Snacks

Q: Explain your Dragon's Den experience?
A: I enjoyed the experience and got some good ideas from the Dragons.

Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Gavin but I expected him to be.

Q: Were you nervous?
A: I was a little nervous at the start but once I got into my pitch the nerves went.

Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: The only surprise for me was the dragon's insistence that I needed to have an exclusive deal with my suppliers.

Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A: Probably Gavin but I'm not sure.

Q: Would you have done anything differently?
A: I think the Dragons were not confident that there is a sustainable market for an on-line Sugar Free Store so I don't believe that there was anything different I could have done to convince them.

Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
A: It's not for everyone, I enjoyed the experience and hopefully the exposure will help awareness of the web site. I would only recommend participation to someone if the exposure was likely to have a positive impact on their business proposal.

Q: What does this mean to you personally?
A: I'm not sure yet, I don't know if I realy want the public exposure but I want to grow the business to a stage that I can make a living and maybe employ 2 or 3 people.

Q: In five year's time where do you see your product/company?
A: There are 2 possible outcomes:
1. www.sugarfree.ie will be establishes as the place to go for Low GI and Sugar Free products and information and have a turnover of ¤1M+ per yr
2. www.sugarfree.ie will be gone and I'll be doing something else.
