Episode 2: Ruby & Ginger

Q: Explain your Dragon's Den experience?
A: The whole experience has been a little crazy to be honest, even now it's all over we can't quite believe we have done it. There were huge highs from receiving the initial call that our application was successful, the audition, being in the den but also suffered the worst nerves of our lives waiting to walk up the steps. The time in the den was a fantastic experience though - it sounds like a cliché but we soon forgot the cameras were there and after the initial pitch enjoyed telling the dragons about us and our business and showing our passion and belief in our products.

Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Niall O'Farrell

Q: Were you nervous?
A: Yes - the most nervous in our lives

Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: Not hugely, we had researched the kind of questions that had been asked in previous series so nothing came totally out of the blue.

Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A: Norah and Gavin showed the most interest in us.

Q: Would you have done anything differently?
A: No we enjoyed the den experience and felt we were true to ourselves and our brand in it.

Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
A: Definitely - the den has made us really focus on planning the future of the business and how we can make our dreams into a reality so even if we had not been successful we would have taken a lot away from the experience.

Q: What does this mean to you personally?
A: Confirmation that we have a great business idea, plus some new found confidence in our ability to pitch!

Q: In five year's time where do you see your product/company?
A: We plan to grow the business, initially in the UK and Ireland and then look for distributors in Europe.

Q: What is your lasting memory of the Den?
A: Hugging Norah and the other Dragons after the deal agreement, and being really pleased to be complimented on our presentation too - we left feeling 100feet tall.

Q: At any point did you think you wouldn't get the investment?
A: When we asked if they had any questions..there was silence for maybe a few seconds but it felt like ten minutes and we looked nervously at each other wondering if we had completely blown it!
