Episode 3: AUTO-SQUEEGEE

Q: Explain your Dragon's Den experience?
A: The Den is a gruelling process from start to finish. From the moment, I first contacted the researchers on the show, I knew there would be no prisoners here. The show is set up so that you are out of your comfort zone most of the time. It's an early start - the red lippy was put on at 7am!!! Being in front of the Dragons was tougher than I expected. I'm usually able to bring out the fun side of most people, but the Dragons were clear cut in their approach. However, it wasn't too long before I had them smiling, and even Gavin wanted to be involved in the Flirt Wall. It seemed each one of the Dragons liked Flirtricity. However, I had my eye on one man, and one man only - Sean O' Sullivan. Then my dream started to become a reality, and my little eyes glistened as four of the Dragons declared their exit stating they were out as they felt I needed a technology partner. That I did.and I had my eyes on my prize with one Dragon to go. And then there was Sean; my one and only! I'll be completely honest, I really thought I had him. He was smiling, fully engaged and looked like he needed a bit of Flirtricity himself! I built myself up and waited for the one I thought was my Prince Charming to rescue me, declare his investment and help me make Flirtricity a huge success! Then.Sean's final words came through, announcing the crushing statement which would declare my destiny - He was out! The words resonated around me. This was not the way things were supposed to turn out! The emotion overcame me and I just wanted to get out of The Den. Ironcially, I didn't follow my own dating advice: I had built myself up too much and I put all my eggs in one basket and on one man. I should've known there was no Prince Charming! I was in tears by the time I got to the end of the stairs! The emotions came as I dealt with rejection in the highest degree - publicly. However, after a few minutes and a good cup of tea, my disappointment subsided and my future began to look bright again. Sean was just another fish in the sea! I reapplied my red lippy, thanked The Dragons Den team for the experience; and with a spring in my step, left the Den with a new stronger more determined me!

Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Gavin

Q: Were you nervous?
A: Yes, I had all the pre dating nerves!!! My concept is fun, so I know I could make the Dragons smile. However, when I walked into the room and saw their straight faces, I knew this would be a tough group to crack! However, after my first 2 minute pitch, Peter said that I reminded him of Marilyn Monroe and I knew then that I would be OK. Marilyn was gifted at having men eating out of her hands. I was hoping to do the same with the Dragons!

Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: Yes, Gavin and Peter presumed that Flirtricity was more for quick fix relationships! Surprised that they came up with that!

Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A: Sean O' Sullivan

Q: Would you have done anything differently?
A: Flirted more with Sean. I think he liked it!

Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
A: Yes, definitely. The Dragons Den gets you to take one hard look at your business and be Hitler like towards it! It makes you fast forward your business in rocket time. It also puts you in front of investors both on the Den itself and off. I've had more lucrative offers off the Den!

Q: In five year's time where do you see your product/company?
A: Flirtricity will be the no. 1 online dating site for those looking to spice up their lives in the 20-30s market. The Flirtricity app will ensure instant sign up to the online dating site.

Flirtricity will also be a huge player in international with a potential turnover of 5million.

I plan on launching other dating products for those who are more serious about finding the One.

I am also working on a dating book to help the Irish get out there and start flirting! This will be on the shelves in 2014.

Q: What is your lasting memory of the Den?
A: Peter saying that I reminded me of Marilyn Monroe. She is my all time favourite icon. I love her.
