Episode 7: Alan Ennis' Response

Q: Explain your Dragon's Den experience in a couple of lines?
A: Being on the Dragons Den was a real highlight for us, to have the opportunity to pitch our idea to business professionals was a dream come true, the Den gave us a platform to show our idea, and for that we are grateful.

Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Sarah Newman, but we feel that we got a fair chance with them all, they all brought their own style of questioning and had their own ideas of what was right for them, over all they were all fair.

Q: Were you nervous?
A: I dont generally get nervous but on his occasion I was terrified, We knew that it was either going to give a massive boost to our product or it would have died.

Q: How did you prepare?
A: We have worked with this idea for a number of years now so we did not pre-prepare answers or practice what might happen, we agreed to go in there with our heart on our sleeves and answer the questions as best we could, we made a promise that we would not answer a question for the sake of giving an answer, we were honest and true to the Dragons and ourselves.

Q: Was it as you expected it to be?
A: I dont think there were any expectations of how it would be, I can tell you it was very nerve racking when we walked in first and saw them all sitting there, that was expected.

Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: No not really, the Dragons were amazing and so very professional, we had a giggle with them also.

Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A: Niall was and 2 of the others also liked it.

Q: Would you have done anything differently?
A: No, as before we were true to ourselves and our product, we can say we answered every question as best we could and were totally honest.

Q: Has entering the den changed your perception of business in any way?
A: Yes, we now see that if you dream of something you should let nothing get in your way, be single minded about your quest.

Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
A: Its a must, its an opportunity NOT to be missed, thank God for the Dragons Den and well done to them for giving entrepenuers a chance.

Q: What does this mean to you personally?
A: We are honoured and delighted to have been given the chance to pitch, and getting investment from Niall our dream is still very much alive.
