Episode 4: Noelle O'Connor

Noelle O'Connor

Tough, educational and exciting! It was definitely worth all the hard work and preparation.

Q: Who was the toughest Dragon?
A: Sarah was the toughest. She was very polite but she was very tough in her line of questions and keeping me to the point.

Q: Were you nervous?
A: Of course I was, but I knew my stuff and I tried to give the facts as best I could.

Q: How did you prepare?
A: I researched my market. I knew my financials and I researched the Dragon's background.

Q: Was it as you expected it to be?
A: No, I thought it would be worse. They were all very nice and I didn't feel as nervous as I thought I would be.

Q: Were you surprised by some of the questions?
A: No, I think I had prepared as well as I could and I don't feel any of the questions were something I hadn't prepared for.

Q: Who was most interested in your idea?
A: Niall seemed most interested but I think Gavin was quietly excited but did not say much.

Q: Would you have done anything differently?
A: I would have had a couple of large brandy's before I went up!

Q: Has entering the den changed your perception of business in any way?
A: No, but it only reiterates how important it is to grab opportunity where you can. Had I not entered Dragon's Den I never would have won this.

Q: Would you recommend applying for Dragon's Den to any other budding entrepreneurs?
A: Absolutely, it was a great learning curve and a great experience whether I did or did not get the investment I would have been glad of the experience.

Q: What does this mean to you personally?
A: It's great to see someone else as excited about TanOrganic as I am and I am delighted to have achieved my goal.
