Programme 4 - London-Irish Centre
In the fourth and final programme of the series, Richard visits Conway House in Kilburn- home to a generation of Irish men who went to work in London in the 1950's and never returned home.
Richard's Conway House challenge is a big one. He wants to change the way the men use the centre. Richard decides to build a training kitchen to get the men cooking for themselves and for each other. But with estimated costs of £10,000 and no budget to carry out the project, is this challenge feasible? Can he source and build an entire kitchen in the run up to Christmas and teach these men to cook? Richard has set himself the toughest challenge of the series.
