Four months ago Aidan and Martina Grennan won a Kingspan competition to upgrade their home.  It’s meant they have been able to transform their house from a cold damp and mouldy environment to a new warm, high energy performing and comfortable place to live.
Duncan is back in Offaly this week to catch up with Aidan and Martina and see how they are getting on. By improving the energy performance of the house and externally insulating it – the house is now more air tight. Duncan discusses the importance of air quality and heat recovery ventilation in the home.
And Tania is in Dun Laoghaire visiting a very special apartment designed by architect Ross Cahill O’Brien.
