In this episode Duncan meets people attempting smaller projects in their homes and proves that even if you don't have loads of money or space, you can give your existing home a whole new lease of life.
In Rathgar, Ann and Conor have a beautiful Georgian house but the living area is a dark and cramped warren of small rooms. They don't want to extend and with the help of interior designer Gwen Kenny, they are hoping to transform this area into a light-filled spacious part of their home for them and their children.
In Dundrum, Annette Mahon needs a home office but doesn't want to lose the guest room in her compact flat. Interior designer Karen O Rourke comes up with an ingenious solution but will it work?
