About the House

Programme 8

This week on About the house, Duncan is back in Limerick with Mike and Natalie. Unfortunately things have taken a turn for the worse. Mike and Natalie took a big risk by removing their unstable gable wall, and as a result the entire building has collapsed. They now have the huge job of reconstructing their house on their hands. Mike takes over and decides to project manage the build himself and before long, work is underway.

Angie is in the beautiful county Mayo visiting architect Mark Stephens who has designed and built his own contemporary house with traditional character.

Meanwhile Jean, Paddy and Léan take a trip to Ratoath to investigate an apartment block that has some unique design features.
