A native of Dublin, Karl has been a personal trainer for eleven years and is well known and loved as the fitness expert on RTE’s Operation Transformation. With a BSc (hons) Sports Management from UCD (University College Dublin), and two personal training qualifications ACE and AABS, he founded Karl Henry Personal Training in 2004. Henry successfully published his ‘Real Result’ the Ultimate Health and Fitness Guide Book in 2010.
Henry has been playing sport since a very young age and since becoming vegetarian over five years ago he have found an all new level of fitness that has seen him progress into running seven marathons, numerous ironman triathlons and now ultra marathons across the globe.
A fitness fanatic, Henry believes that anyone can get into great shape, with a little hard work, an improved diet and some guidance.

“Ultimate Street Challenge was a fantastic experience that allowed our ten challengers to experience a different type of fitness, to push themselves out of their comfort zones and the realisation that with hard work, determination and effort, you can achieve anything that you set your mind to. In today’s climate, this is something that will stand to them in school and in later life too. I feel honoured to have been part of such a life changing experience.”
