Bernard Dunne says the show was a great opportunity to show kids that being fit and healthy can be great fun:

“My goal at the start of Ultimate Street Challenge was to show kids that fitness can be fun and can help them feel better about themselves and to boost their confidence. I also wanted to get the kids to face touch challenges and overcome their fears and build their self confidence which they really did succeed in doing. They did us proud!”
