MEET THE PRESENTERS
CARLA
Carla comes from the village of Caledon in Co Tyrone.
Her first love is dance. She began at 5 years of age and hasn't stopped dancing since! Before studying Journalism in Galway, Carla spent three years on a world tour with Riverdance. A World champion dancer, Carla has performed at the Pyramids in Egypt, on the Great Wall of China and in front of 80,000 people at the opening of the Special Olympics. She also danced for Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to Ireland in 2011.
Carla's love of storytelling comes from meeting new people on her travels and learning about traditions and customs from around the world. Her hobbies include dancing, running, socialising with friends, reading and going to the cinema.
Carla joined the news2day team last year. Her favourite moments so far have been meeting lots of fun viewers, shearing a sheep and learning to speed stack!

CONOR
news2day presenter Conor McNally is a native of Carlow town. He went to primary school in Gaelscoil Eoghain Ui Thuairisc and secondary school at Gaelcholáiste Cheatharlach. Before joining the news2day team he worked as a news journalist at a radio station in Carlow/Kilkenny called KCLR96fm and graduated top of his class from the Journalism degree course in Dublin City University.
Conor started his journalism career at the age of 15 when he began writing monthly features for a classic car magazine, despite not being able to drive! As well as being a keen follower of news, he loves technology, travel, music and films. His favourite band is Elbow and his favourite city is Boston, USA, where he once spent a summer working in a toy shop.
