On our final week in the Summer term we paid a very special visit to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.
12 years ago plans began for a new national children’s hospital in Dublin but building still hasn’t started. The new hospital will look after children who have yet to get sick but meanwhile Crumlin is looking after extremely brave, sick children right now.
Children like these need space, comfortable rooms and the best facilities to help them get better.
Thanks to the ongoing fundraising of the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation, Crumlin Hospital is opening new wards and providing up to date treatments and medicines ensuring that the sick children of today are as well looked after as those of the future.
