SLEEPOVER SAFARI
Have you ever wondered what goes on in a museum when the doors close and the lights go out? Do the exhibits coming to life and wreak havoc? Well, now 10 children have a chance to find out...
RTE's elev8 and The Natural History Museum are giving 10 lucky elev8 fans - 5 pairs of best friends - the chance to win a once in a lifetime prize: the opportunity to take part in SLEEPOVER SAFARI, the big elev8 sleepover in the Natural History Museum, Dublin on Wednesday 17th April 2013!
We want YOU and a friend to get your imagination & creativity into over-drive and DRAW, SCULPT, DESIGN, or DESCRIBE an all-new animal! You can enter as many times as you like! There's a different theme each week. Once you & your friend have finalised your creation, you must then record a video - of no longer than 60 seconds in duration - in which you introduce your crazy creature, and then upload it here.

HOW TO ENTER:
- Remember - you MUST enter along with a friend - Sleepover Safari requires a double-act!
- Download our Official Entry Form, and type in ALL details along with a parent/guardian.
- Record a video together - no longer than 60 seconds - to introduce us to your creation!

- Hit SEND NOW
- Be patient, and wait for your files to upload! Don't click away until fully uploaded!

WEEK 1 - Wednesday 6th March - Tuesday 12th March @ MIDNIGHT
This week we want you to DRAW their imaginary animal. You can use markers, pastels, crayons, paint, coloured pencils - ANYTHING you like as long as it's bright and colourful!WINNERS: Gregory Weafer and Gabriel Cullivan
WEEK 2 - Wednesday 13th March - Tuesday 19th March @ MIDNIGHT
This week we want you to SCULPT your imaginary animal. You can use clay, cardboard, wood, food, rubbish - whatever it takes to create the ultimate creature!WINNERS: Cara Brady and Kate McGowan
WEEK 3 - Wednesday 20th March - Tuesday 26th March @ MIDNIGHT
This week we want you to DESIGN your imaginary animal - create a costume using whatever material you can find, then dress up as your new crazy critter!WINNERS: Chloé Moore and Cathal Galvin
WEEK 4 - Wednesday 27th March - Tuesday 2nd April @ MIDNIGHT
This week we want you to DESCRIBE your imaginary animal by writing all about it, and tell a tale of the adventures it might get up to!>WINNERS: Luke Ryan and Sam Suttle
WEEK 5 - Wednesday 3rd April - Tuesday 9th April @ MIDNIGHT

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
ALL entries across the five weeks of the competition will be judged on the following criteria:
- ORIGINALITY OF THE IDEA
- THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE NEW CREATURE
- PRESENTATION SKILLS IN VIDEO
The Judging Panel will be comprised of Series Producer of elev8, the Keeper of the Natural History Museum, and RTE's Cross Divisional Head of Children's Content.
Two winners will be announced every Wednesday on elev8. The first winner will be announced on 13th March and every Wednesday afterwards.
