1. This competition is governed by RTE Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions can be accessed by clicking on the Competition Terms button at the top of the elev8 homepage, or by clicking the following link http://www.rte.ie/about/competitions.

2. Voting opens each week at 4.30pm and closes at midnight the following Thursday. However, this is subject to change at the discretion of the production team. Contestants will be notified in this instance.

3. Votes are visible only to the organisers.

4. Each week the acts in the first two positions are announced. Outside this, the results of the voting will not be revealed.

5. Voting is monitored frequently. Any issues arising are dealt with as promptly as possible, in line with best practice and at the discretion of the programme, elev8.

6. Changes in the structure and timing of the competition are sometimes unavoidable and are at the discretion of the programme, elev8.

7. In the event of a tie, both acts will go through.
