Hi everyone,

Well the big storm has passed Ireland! We were warned, we were prepared and now we're back to plain old rainy days minus the howling winds (kinda).

I love thunderstorms. I think they’re really beautiful. Like this one below....

The sound of the rolling thunder makes me scared sometimes though- ESPECIALLY if I’m home alone. Yes, I can be a bit of a scardey cat sometimes. I’m also terrified of spiders. If I’m home alone I’ll run out of the room and keep the door shut until someone comes home to get rid of it. I remember one time there was a huuuuge spider in my room and I tried to attack it with a cushion… all it did was scare the poor evil thing and it ran around like crazy until I finally got it. But then the cushion stayed hidden under my bed for ages because it had spider remains on it. Yuck!

It was my brothers birthday on Friday (he’s 14) and we bought him a cool cake :D But one of my presents to him was a huge wind up spider (my mam had the same thought and bought one too) and he told me he was going to play a horrible prank on me… YIKES! It would have been pretty funny but luckily he wasn’t that cruel.

What are you guys terrified of? Anyone else out there as afraid of spiders as I am?
