GREEK POLITICIANS DECIDING ON BAILOUT DEAL

Greece has been given until next Wednesday to decide if they will do what the European Union wants them to do to get their economy back on track.

If they don't, one of the consequences will be that they'll have to stop using the Euro and go back to their old currency, the Drachma.

People who work for the Greek government are on strike as they do not agree with the harsh measures that the EU is requesting.

Giovanni Trapattoni was guest of honour at Ballygunner National School in Waterford today.

During his visit to the city he announced the squad for Ireland's upcoming friendly against the Czech Republic.

It didn't include Sunderland's James McClean - who has been cleared to play for the Republic.

GIANT SNAILS ON THE LOOSE IN AMERICA

An invasion of giant African snails are worrying people in Miami.

33,000 of them have been captured in Florida since they were first spotted in September last year.

People are afraid of crop damage and the snail's slime can also contain a parasite which transmits a form of meningitis to humans.

It may not be deadly but can cause extreme tummy pain.
