Kathryn Thomas goes in search of myth and legend in Transylvania as she explores the history of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Count Dracula. Through inexpensive train trips and mountain biking up virtually untouched landscapes, she reveals the beautiful unspoiled countryside that makes Romania one of Europe's best-kept secrets.

Himalayas 1&2

Kathryn spends a little time in Delhi before acclimatising to the thin air of the Himalayas in Leh. She hikes through the world's most famous and spectacular mountain range. Aside from amazing scenery and chatting with the locals, Kathryn has a lot of hard work to do and all the hours of walking takes her to heights of fourteen and a half thousand feet.
