Ethiopia

This programme sees the first visit by No Frontiers to Ethiopia. Kathryn Thomas discovers that although this country is among the poorest in the world, it is a far cry from the perceptions most people have of drought and starvation. Ethiopia is actually a country of some of the friendliest people in the world, and also where you'll find the most astounding churches, and the best coffee.

Kyoto

Guest presenter Diarmuid Gavin looks at the clash of the modern and the traditional in contemporary Japan. This week Diarmuid visits the magnificent Mt Fuji and goes in search of old-world Japan in Kyoto.

Cambodia

Kathryn Thomas goes in search of adventure in the Kingdom of Cambodia. She spends some time in the capital Phnom Penh, eats the local delicacies and takes in a Thai boxing match before heading to the ancient temple of Angkor Wat.
