One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has been injured in a charity football match arranged by Celtic hero Stiliyan Petrov.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor forced Tomlinson to limp out of the game at Parkhead in Glasgow this afternoon.

The encounter, which has seen a Celtic XI go up against a team selected by Petrov, has taken place to raise money for leukaemia treatment after the Bulgarian recently beat the illness.

Among those on show was One Direction singer Tomlinson, who hit the ground after being shoulder-charged by Agbonlahor. He was helped to his feet, but was substituted soon after and appeared to be in some pain.

Tomlinson recently made the sporting headlines when he signed a contract with English Championship side Doncaster Rovers.
