Colossal riffs and solos

Part English, part Swedish, part American and full of heavy rock magic, Alberta Cross only have one full-length album to their name but already sound like they own the arenas. If the quintet can write songs this good now, what could they be like three years down the line? Scary.

Powered by colossal riffs and solos and the wistful voice of Petter Ericsson Stakee, 'Broken Side of Time' will give some the same buzz they got from first encounters with Pearl Jam's 'Ten' in 1992, while recovering air guitarists will find their resolve not to throw shapes in front of the mirror seriously challenged.

Marvel at Stakee and co's constant determination to create the epic and the timeless, and then turn up the volume and punch the air some more.
