Matthew McConaughey has said he's getting more movie offers and opportunities since his Oscar win.
The 44-year-old Dallas Buyers Club star told Deadline.com about the things that have changed in his life since he took home the Best Actor gong, "People respond 'yes' to RSVPs more often and more quickly.
"What has really changed is that I am getting more scripts, I've got more choices which is great, coming off of that. If anything it's giving me more opportunities, more things to choose from, which I'm embracing. And in the middle of getting much more I can more easily now personally ask myself, 'What do I want to do that turns me on? What experience am I going to get out of it?' So yeah, I'm getting a lot more things."
He added that his work on True Detective has also opened doors, "Surprisingly a lot of detective things and that's probably because of True Detective as well, but good stuff. I'm still looking for things that scare me a little bit. This one [Sea of Trees] scares me, but in a good way."
