Singer and actor Clíona Ní Chiosáin plays the role of Réiltín in the production of the same name at this year’s Dublin Theatre Festival.

Réiltín is a fallout girl. This is not how her life was supposed to be – she was destined to be a singer. She needs to escape her dead-end world before it is too late. Back for one night only, Réiltín is about to give the gig of her life.

Composed by Simon Noble, with lyrics by Paul Mercier, and produced by Fíbín Theatre Company, Réiltín is the first Irish language production to be part of Dublin Theatre Festival in 17 years. Réiltín’s story is told through music, video and performance.

Réiltín will open at the Abbey Theatre on the Peacock Stage on Sept 25 (previews Sept 24) and will run until Sept 28. Tickets now on sale. Booking details: Online: www.dublintheatrefestival.com Phone: +353 1 677 88 99

Dublin Theatre Festival 2014 runs from Sept 15 until  Oct 12. www.dublintheatrefestival.com.
