Robert Pattinson has revealed that he sometimes suffers from depression but the idea of going to see a therapist makes him anxious.

The Twilight star told the Daily Telegraph, "I kind of like my depression in a funny sort of way. I like my peaks and troughs.

"Luckily, depression never lasts that long with me. I would love to go into therapy but it makes me feel too anxious."

Pattinson added that he struggled with his rise to fame after starring in the 2008 vampire series, "I had a bit of a struggle at first because my life really contracted and I couldn't do a lot of the stuff I used to be able to do.

"But once I got through that a year or two ago I just accepted my life is something else and now I can't really remember what it was like before. So it's much easier to deal with."
