Fight For This Love hitmaker Cheryl Cole is reportedly desperate to get rid of her ''Mrs C'' tattoo on the back of her neck after walking down the aisle to restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini earlier this month.

The 31-year-old X Factor judge reportedly had a consultation with US artist Nikko Hurtado about erasing the inking on the back of her neck, which pays tribute to her ex-husband Ashley Cole.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, a source said: ''Cheryl wants Nikko to fly over soon and remove the pesky tatt.

''It's been on her to-do list for a long time but now she's a married woman again the ''Mrs C'' inking feels even more inappropriate. Of course, the rush to remove it is as much out of respect for her new husband as it is for herself. She wants Jean to know that she has moved on from her past, especially where Ashley's concerned.''
