Recently retired Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth will return to BBC TV for a one-off variety show later this year.

According to Broadcast, Bruce Forsyth's Hall Of Fame will give comedians, singers and actors the opportunity to 'emulate their heroes' in front of a live theatre audience.

Airing on BBC One, the variety show will be made by former Strictly Come Dancing commissioner Jane Lush and her new company Kalooki Pictures.

It will be the 86-year-old Forsyth's first show since leaving Strictly Come Dancing at the end of the 2013 season.

Lush called Forsyth a "legend of BBC One Saturday night TV", before adding: "I couldn't be more excited to be working again with Sir Bruce exactly 10 years since we first embarked on the Strictly Come Dancing adventure together."
