Charlene McKenna returns in the new season and 120 cast and crew are working on the show. Producers of the series told TEN that Ripper Street's return to Ireland was never in doubt once a third series received the green light.
The new series will premiere on Amazon Prime Instant Video and will be shown on BBC One at a later date.
