A rough cut of Peter Capaldi's first full Doctor Who episode has appeared online six weeks before it is due to be broadcast.

RadioTimes.com reports that the episode entitled Deep Breath was leaked after a BBC Worldwide security breach in Miami.

The clip is a rough black and white edit and has surfaced following a security lapse which also saw five Doctor Who series eight scripts appearing in public Google searches.

Commenting on the latest revelations, a BBC Worldwide spokesperson said: "This is part of BBC Worldwide's ongoing security investigation into leaked unfinished Doctor Who materials.

"This content is currently being removed and originates from the same Miami server we disabled last week, it is not a new issue.

"We'd like to thank the amazing Doctor Who fans who are continuing to keep fansites and social media spoiler-free but would remind anyone downloading and sharing this material that it is illegal to do so."

Doctor Who returns to BBC1 on 23 August 23.
