American actress Crystal Clarke and British actor Pip Andersen have joined the cast of the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII.
Deadline.com reports that their casting follows an open casting call which resulted in almost 70,000 applications.
Commenting, Star Wars producer and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said: "The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII, we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition.
"We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film."
Clarke will be seen opposite Pierce Brosnan in The Moon and the Sun next year, while Andersen is a parkour and free running expert.
