There has been speculation that the Aviva Stadium could act as a possible venue for the remaining two Garth Brooks gigs, following Dublin City Council's decision to grant permission for only three shows at Croke Park.
According to the Irish Independent, the Aviva will now be put forward as a possible location for the final two shows of the planned five.
Earlier today, Aiken promotions said it was "very disappointed" that Dublin City Council had granted permission for only three of the planned five Garth Brooks concerts at Croke Park.
The concert promoter added that it will issue a more detailed statement in "due course".
Earlier today, the GAA confirmed that it had received written notification that only three Garth Brooks concerts would be allowed to take place at Croke Park.
The dates of the confirmed concerts are July 25, 26 and 27.
400,000 tickets have already been snapped-up for the planned five sold-out shows.
