DeGeneres - Won the Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment award

Kathy Griffin hosted the 2014 Daytime Emmy Awards, which took place in the Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunday night (June 22), with Ellen DeGeneres among the winners.

DeGeneres was honoured with the Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment award, while the Outstanding Talk Show Host award was shared by Katie Couric and Dr Mehmet Oz.

The Young and the Restless led the nominees with a whopping 26 nods and was the big winner on the night with four of the main awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.
