Jason Biggs wants more "grown up" roles

Biggs: "At this point in my life, it is preferable"

American Pie star Jason Biggs wants to be offered more "grown up" roles that reflect where he is in his life.

The 36-year-old actor, best known for playing Jim Levenstein in teen blue comedy film, admits that his new role in popular Netflix show Orange is the New Black, is more suited to his lifestyle.

He said: ''It is different, I don't know whether I have a preference in general but for now, at this point in my life, it is preferable.

''I love that goofy comedy and I want to do more of it but for me right now I feel I personally grew up and for a while the roles I was doing haven't quite grown up with me and this is the first one where I feel like it has.''

Biggs also teased the new season of Orange is the New Black, in the readion interview, adding:  ''The cliffhanger will be resolved fairly early on and I think you can expect more of the same in terms of the wonderful character back stories, we have a new villain that shakes things up a little bit. There's more Piper and Alex, always drama with those two.''
