Rebel Wilson upset over Emmy snub

1 of 1 Wilson:
Wilson: "Oh man, I realize my show Super Fun Night was cancelled, but it sucks"

Australian actress Rebel Wilson has taken to Twitter to express her disappointment at missing out on an Emmy nomination, insisting that the situation "sucks".

The 28-year-old Pitch Perfect star took to social networking to express her anger at missing out on a nod at this year's award ceremony, due to NBC cancelling her new comedy show Super Fun Night after just one season.

She wrote: "Oh man, I realize my show Super Fun Night was cancelled, but it sucks that they didn't even put me in the race for the Emmys...not that I thought I would have a chance of winning but there wasn't many females heading network comedies and I might've had a slight chance at the 6th nomination slot... Oh well, will have to just try for Oscar or Tony.''

She added: ''I just feel like I've been banned from buying a raffle ticket for a raffle I had a super fat chance of winning anyways.''

This year's Emmy Awards will be held on August 25 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
