Cate Blanchett was among the honourees at last night's Women in Film Awards in Los Angeles, taking home the prestigious Crystal award for expanding the role of women in the industry.
Kerry Washington took home the award for Excellence in Television for her work as White House fixer, Olivia Pope, in ABC's hit show Scandal.
Bad Neighbours star Rose Byrne took home the Face of the Future award, Eva Longoria was honoured for her Humanitarian work and the Director's Award went to Jennifer Lee.
Cathy Shulman, President of Women In Film said of the five honourees at the annual ceremony: "The women we are honouring this year represent the best, the brightest and the bravest among us. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and their contributions."
