Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie has admitted to "blubbering like a little girl" while filming scenes that aired in the latest episode, The Watchers on the Wall.
Warning: spoiler alert!
In the ninth episode of the current season of the hit HBO drama, Jon Snow is reunited with Ygritte but of course, in true Game of Thrones style, it didn't have a fairytale ending.
In her final scene in the show, Ygritte is poised to shoot an arrow through an unarmed Jon Snow, only to be killed by a young boy from Castle Black.
Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, told TVLine.com that he doesn't think Ygritte could've killed Jon: "I don't know what would've happened if she didn't die. I think they would've gone their separate ways, actually."
"If the scene played longer, I think they'd walk away from each other. They'd let each other live," he said.
Ygritte star Rose Leslie added: "She is truthfully unaware and completely oblivious of just how much she truly loves Jon Snow. And then seeing him again just knocks the wind right out of her. I don't think she would've killed him. I don't think she could've killed him."
On filming her final scenes Leslie commented: "They had left that scene, where I die in Jon Snow's arms, until my last day. Oh gosh, I was a little baby. I really was. I blubbered like a little girl when we were finally done, because I was so incredibly touched."
