Sigourney Weaver has revealed that Ghostbusters 3 will focus on her character from the first two films now adult son who has become a Ghostbuster himself.
The actress, who played Dana Barrett in the original two Ghostbusters movies, told Vanity Fair that her one condition for returning to the franchise was that her character's son had to have grown up to be a Ghostbuster.
Weaver told of her meeting with producer Ivan Reitman, "I said, 'I have one condition, I want my son Oscar to be a Ghostbuster' and he said, 'We've already done that'."
Men In Black 3's Etan Cohen is working on the script for the re-boot and is hopeful that Bill Murray will change his mind and reprise his role as Peter Venkman, "Absolutely everyone wants Bill Murray. But everyone has great faith in the franchise."
