Louis Walsh is wasting no time in getting exposure for his new boyband Hometown.

The latest pop act managed by the X Factor judge have yet to release any music but he has already lined up a reality show and a pantomime to put them in the public eye.

Going back to his fledgling days with Boyzone, Walsh will officially launch Hometown on The Late Late Show tomorrow night (May 30), when the six-member group make their TV debut.

A source told the Herald: “Louis has a strong track record when it comes to spotting talent and turning it into a fantastic product and that’s what he’s planning with Hometown.

“They’re a great bunch of lads and they've gelled well so far.

“They’ll be doing a regular panto at the Olympia Theatre from now on and management are about to sign on the dotted line for a fly-on-the-wall reality programme.

“So it’s exciting times ahead.”

Hometown members Josh Grey (17) and Dean Gibbons (20), as wells as Brendan Murray (17), Cian Morrin (19), Dayl Cronin (20) and Ryan McLoughlin (20) are being styled by fashion guru Lisa Fitzpatrick.

They’re also set to support Shane Filan in Cork in July when the former Westlife singer plays a solo gig at Live at the Marquee.
