Things took another dramatic turn on Coronation Street last night, when Rob took drastic measures to make sure that Tina was silenced for good.

Warning! Spoiler Alert!

After her fall from the balcony of Owen's builder yard on Tuesday night (May 28), Coronation Street viewers were shocked last to see the Rovers barmaid back up on her feet alive and well, albeit suffering from a few scratches.

In shocking scenes, which were kept secret by soap bosses, Tina (Michelle Keegan) had another massive argument with Rob (Marc Baylis). She vowed to tell Carla of her affair with Peter and report him for his dodgy business dealings. Little did Tina or Rob know that Peter had already broken the news to his wife of his extra-marital activities.

As Tina warned that she was "born gobby", Rob violently attacked her with a metal bar after spitting out: "You'll die gobby too."

Tina is now set to fight for her life in hospital until Monday night's double bill, which sees her slip away when doctors are unable to save her.

Will Rob be caught out for what he is done, or will he let someone else take the blame?
