Tina Turner has denied reports that she has suffered a stroke in recent days.
German and Dutch publications have reported that the 74-year-old had suffered a minor stroke but her spokesperson has denied the claims and said the rumours are "not true".
German website Express quoted a man named Albert B.Cologne who claimed to be the singer's friend and driver and who also claimed that she has suffered a mild stroke but "is well on the road to recovery".
"Tina had to cancel her holiday to recover, she has already managed a smile for her partner Erwin Bach," he is reported to have said.
The website has since removed their story.
Turner, who lives in Switzerland with her husband, German music executive Bach, has previously issued denials of ill health.
Last February her friend Oprah Winfrey denied that Turner had become ill.
“Tina had a bad flu weeks ago. She’s recovered. And LIVING life!” Oprah tweeted.
