One Direction's Niall Horan told Nicky Byrne on RTÉ 2fm that he and his band-mates can't wait to take to the stage in Croke Park.
The Mullingar native told Nicky and Jenny on The Nicky Byrne Show, "It's here, finally, we've been waiting for a while for this, it's a big dream of all of ours to play Croke Park, and it's finally happening, the boys are on their way."
When asked about the Irish crowds he said, "Yeah it's going to be unbelievable... Everyone knows how great these Irish crowds are, even within our crew, it's all we've been talking about, the Croke Park gigs, we're doing a world tour and it's the biggest show on the tour, we're so excited about it."
Niall added that he doesn't think it will feel real until he takes to the stage, "It was kinda strange because I woke up and I didn't really know what to feel, it won't be real until I get there, I'm heading there for sound check now, it's one of those that won't get real until I'm standing there on the stage."
One Direction play Croke Park for the next three nights and are set to perform 23-24 songs at each show.
