Channing Tatum has revealed details of the forthcoming sequel to Magic Mike.
The 34-year-old actor was praised for his role as a stripper in the 2012 film which was directed by Steven Soderbergh.
Speaking about the movie's sequel, Magic Mike XXl, Tatum told GQ magazine that it will be set at a number of stripper conventions: "The women would come from miles and miles around. Then you lock the doors and you say all bets are off.
"It gets zany and crazy, and it's a wild ride. It's an incubator for insanity... You've seen Magic Mike – now multiply that. Mob mentality. It's just exponentially crazier. I thought it was absolutely insane."
Steven Soderbergh will not be returning to direct the film, but he will be acting as camera operator, director of photography and editor.
Magic Mike XXL is due for release in July 2015.
