Justin Bieber has landed in yet another spot of bother - this time in Los Angeles.
The LA Police Department have announced that they are investigating allegations of an attempted robbery by the Canadian pop star. The incident involves a phone.
The 20-year-old has been implicated in an incident which is alleged to have taken place in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles on Monday night (May 12).
“Detectives are currently interviewing the victim,” an officer Rosario Herrera told The Hollywood Reporter. “It was reported at 10.30pm Monday night to our Devonshire location and occurred earlier in the day in the Valley.”
The police officer added that arrests had yet to be made in relation to the incident, which is just the latest in a series of run-ins and bad press associated with the singer.
Last month, Bieber was reportedly detained at Los Angeles International Airport while trying to re-enter the United States from Japan.
He was arrested in Miami back January for allegedly driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired licence. A trial is due to take place starting on July 7.
